The journey of becoming the first person in your family to attend university is often filled with intimidating challenges and difficult circumstances. Attorney Kadzai hopes to alleviate some of the stress and difficulty of this journey by offering financial assistance to students. His law firm established The Law Offices of David A. Kadzai, LLC First Generation College Student Scholarship to make higher education more attainable for those who are embarking on this journey. The First Generation College Student Scholarship provides a student with $2,500.

I learned about this scholarship through scholarship research and discovery. Winning it made me feel incredibly grateful and reminded me that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. My future educational goal is to attend the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa for four years to study dental hygiene, with hopes of also participating in a study abroad program.
